Cafe Menu
When you visit the cafe for lunch, you'll notice that our menu board is divided into three sections: large plates (entrees), small plates (sides), and desserts. Guests are invited to select up to one item from each category. For a three-dish meal, we suggest a $16 donation if that's accessible to you; we welcome all donations above and below that amount, as well as non-monetary contributions (find details on our participatory model here).
Our menu changes weekly and is influenced by the donations we've received, what our chef is feeling inspired by, and what local produce is in season. We take care to ensure a range of options is available-- whether you're seeking comfort food, prefer the leafy green stuff, or have a dietary restriction, we'll do everything we can to accommodate!
For our current menu, please see our Facebook, Instagram, or call the cafe at (716) 381-8954.

Food Rescue
Big Big Table is committed to reducing food waste in Buffalo. We depend on community relationships to make this happen!
-
We collaborate with growers throughout WNY to capture unsold market produce or bumper crops and transform that excess local bounty into accessible farm-to-table meals.
-
We work with dedicated food rescue groups to utilize supermarkets' ugly-but-delicious produce so no good food goes to waste.
-
When we find we a surplus of goods, we stock community fridges or share extras with cafe visitors via our dining room's Little Free Rack.
-
We partner with the Farmer Pirates to compost our eggshells and veggie scraps, diverting waste from landfills and (after some hard work from the FP team) into a soil amendment that helps local farms and gardens thrive.
If you are a business or organization that would like to team up on food rescue, shoot our kitchen manager a message at tom@bigbigtable.org.
